The Most Wonderful Homemade Hand Scrub!

So I've been looking for an awesome hand scrub that is cheap, easy and non-greasy! I have looked high and low on the net looking for the perfect one! And I finally found it on Northern Cottage! She used peppermint in hers and I also used it in a batch but I wasn't a huge fan so I tried several scents and mixed and matched till I found one I just fell in love with which is Almond Extract and Lemon Extract. I used about 1/2 teaspoon each.   It smells so refreshing and spring-like. So mix and match till you find something you like! I have also made it with half sugar and half Epsom's salt. If you use half pint containers like we did it holds about 3/4 to 1 cup. I didn't measure the soap I just kept pouring until I got the consistency I liked! I hope you enjoy this as much as I do!

Little Lady Leg Warmers!!

This is another fantastic tutorial from This Thrifty House!! I think these leg warmers are too cute, especially when you have a 5 year old princess who loves to dress up!!
So here's the one of the cutest tutorials I've seen!! Of course there's always more to find!

Little Lady Leg Warmers

As I have mentioned before--I have a little lady that LOVES to wear dresses and skirts ALL THE TIME!!!

So as we are heading into the fall and winter months--we usually start shopping for tights for her to wear.  But then I remembered seeing these leg warmers made from ladies knee socks--and decided to make some for my little gal so her little legs will stay warm and cozy this winter.

Ironing Fabric Lettering on your *WALLS*!!!

OK, so I found this on Pinterest such a fabulous website, if I must say so myself, they have just about anything and everything your looking for!

I plan on doing this in my son and daughters rooms A.S.A.P.. It has to be the coolest thing I have ever seen! It looks so easy and she says that when your ready to take it off it leaves no residue or stickiness so if your looking to spruce up your apartment (that you cant paint or hang pictures in) this has to be on your list of to-dos! This Thrifty House is the website. I will be posting my pictures as soon as I finish the project myself! But here are hers! Hope you enjoy and let me know how it goes for you. She has far more fabulous project there as well so check 'em out!!
